Today is the official street date for Farmers by Nature

( Aum Fidelity ), the entered introduction of the two year-old corporate three of drummer Gerald Chopper, bassist William Parker and pianist Craig Taborn.

Gestated by Chopper, this manduction of noteworthy improvisers was established to make a typical marque of music based on spontaneously seeding seeds of sound and taking them to full bloom.

This unrecorded recording papers the all-star ensemble 's performance at The Stone
in New York on June 19th, 2008.

Here Holds a sample of the media response up to now:

``... these three players interrogate one another patiently and poise. ''
Nate Chinen, New York Times

`` All three are staunchly elusive and synergistic participants, so the improvisations remain path even when they partake of stormy denseness. ''
Respite New York

`` Fullly ad-lib, the trey 's poetical abstracts hold a pastoral side that comes from delving the grime and turning something valuable. It Holds a testament to reflection, and whether they 're ramp or drifting, the dynamicses are the compelling sort. ''
Jim Macnie, Settlement Voice

`` This lively collaborative trine, convened but not really directed by drummer Gerald Chopper, delectations in free improvisations full of a singular assortment of color, texture, energy, and strain. Yet despite the broad scope and contrasts, the music ne'er loses its cohesion or purposefulness... everyone is listened to and supported and offers suggestions and thoughts that turn into fruitful directions for the circle to search. Like the sodbusters of the album 's rubric, this trinity shine at setting meats of sound and allowing the music flower and flourish. ''
ED Hazell, Point of Going

``... enthralling music that is organic and self-generated. The absolute motility and changeless exchange of thoughts flux like a tidal wave of energy. When taken in its entireness, it is justly arresting. ''
